Le Salon de Musiques, one of L.A.'s true cultural jewels, is famed for providing up-close and personal musical performances in the warm, intimate -- and impressive -- environs of the fifth floor of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. The latest concert in this acclaimed chamber-music series features works for strings and piano by Austrian and German composers Max Bruch, Julius Rontgen, Eric Zeisl and Johannes Brahms, performed by violinists Tereza Stanislav and Erik Arvinder, violist Rob Brophy, cellist Jacob Braun and pianist Vijay Venkatesh. Musicologist Dr. Kristi Brown-Montesano provides the introductions and context, and after the concert, you're invited to join the musicians for a Q&A and reception featuring champagne and a high-tea buffet.
