Sheila E. and Morris Day, friends and collaborators of the late pop legend Prince and musical giants in their own right, pay tribute to the Purple One in this special concert. The Glamorous Life, a one-night-only jam session is sure to be a night to remember. A protégé of Prince's, drummer-vocalist Sheila E. had huge hits in the '80s with the Grammy-nominated songs "The Glamorous Life" and "A Love Bizarre," and she's collaborated with everyone from Beyoncé and Kanye West to Gloria Estefan, Cyndi Lauper and Ringo Starr, among many others. Prince's high school friend and Purple Rain antagonist, Morris Day and his band, The Time, swaggered onto the scene in the '80s with funk-pop hits like "Get It Up," "777-9311," "Jerk Out," "The Bird" and their signature song "Jungle Love," selling more than 10 million records to date. Today, their patented upbeat grooves are as fresh and fierce as ever. Don't miss this very special tribute at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago.
