Trumpet virtuoso Bobby Lewis has earned his title as one of Chicago's true jazz treasures. He's an award-winning composer, producer, soloist, session musician, band leader -- and perhaps most famously, he served as the music director for the iconic Peggy Lee. As the Chicago Tribune once noted, "In concert, he has provided haunting melodic counterpoints to performances by icons of jazz singing, among them Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Tony Bennett, Lena Horne, Joe Williams, Mel Torme, Sarah Vaughn and just about everyone else." He'll take the stage at Winter's Jazz Club with guitarist John Moulder and bassist Stewart Miller.
