Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Darlene Love first hit it big when she scored a No. 1 hit with "He's a Rebel" in 1962, a classic that's also on Rolling Stones' list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. One of the famed singers of Phil Spector's hit factory back in the '60s, this living legend also sang backup for Aretha Franklin, Cher and Elvis Presley in his famed '68 Comeback Special, a career that led her to be featured in the Oscar-winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom. As a solo artist, her other hits include "The Boy I'm Gonna Marry" and "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)," which she sang each year on Late Show With David Letterman. She's also graced Broadway stages in Grease, Hairspray and more. In 2015, she released Introducing Darlene Love, produced by the E Street Band's Steven Van Zandt and featuring songs by Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Jimmy Webb and others. Don't miss this special evening of music from Darlene Love at Lynn Auditorium.
